BBB 26: Solange Couto reveals that her ex-husband almost assaulted Henri Castelli

Big Brother Brasil 26 is already starting with a bombshell revelation involving two well-known public figures. Actress Solange Couto, 69, told actor Henri Castelli, 47, during a conversation in Brazil’s most watched house, that her ex-husband almost physically assaulted him 14 years ago. The incident occurred during a party, when Castelli paid the actress a compliment that was misinterpreted by her then-partner. The confession happened this week in January 2026, just two days after the new season of the reality show premiered, and quickly became one of the main topics on social media, showing that celebrity backstories still hold untold tales.
According to Solange’s account, it all started when Henri Castelli complimented her, saying she “was always beautiful, but looked absolutely stunning.” The actress’s ex-husband overheard the comment and, when Castelli went to the bathroom, grabbed a bottle with the intention of following him. Concerned about the situation, Solange asked a friend who was at the location for help, but her ex-partner insisted on the idea of hitting the actor in the face. Henri Castelli, who was visibly surprised by the story, assured that his intention was only to give a harmless compliment, to which Solange replied: “I know you absolutely did nothing wrong.”
New Features of the 2026 Edition
Besides the stories among the participants, BBB 26 brings significant changes to its structure. Thus, the current edition features a new group called “Veterans,” formed by former participants returning to the show. Meanwhile, the “Pipoca” group was selected through an unprecedented process with five Glass Houses, where the audience chose the ten finalists. On the other hand, technological innovations are also present, with Globoplay subscribers having access to 12 simultaneous cameras and a new feature on the BBB Mosaic that allows selecting the specific audio from each camera.
The BBB 2026 house also features three Big Phones scattered around the common area, giving the audience the power to choose which one will ring and hear the message that the brother or sister will listen to. These new features, therefore, promise to make the viewing experience even more interactive and full of twists. With this combination of explosive personal stories and renewed formats, TV Globo’s reality show remains a cultural phenomenon in Brazil, generating conversations that go far beyond the walls of the house.
