BBB 26: Ana Paula Renault confronts Pedro over gossip and sends a message

Ana Paula Renault starred in one of the first conflicts on BBB 26 after discovering a rumor spread by brother Pedro. The incident occurred this week inside Brazil’s most watched house and gained prominence for showing the first frictions among the participants of the new season, which premiered last Monday (12). The relevance of the case goes beyond entertainment, as it reflects the dynamics of coexistence and the initial strategies within the reality show, which in 2026 introduces novelties such as the Veterans group and three Big Phones controllable by the public.
The problem began when Pedro told other participants that Ana Paula had supposedly called sister Samira “Barbie” in a pejorative tone. However, the information reached the journalist’s own ears, who promptly went to confront her confinement colleague. Ana vehemently denied the accusation and explained that, in fact, she was commenting about brother Jonas, saying he was “too perfect” and looked like “Barbie’s Ken”. In this way, she stated she never used the term to refer to Samira.
Faced with the situation, Ana Paula did not mince words and sent a direct and threatening message to Pedro. “So you’re gossiping, huh, Pedro? Be careful, ‘Peaky Blinders’, because I’m the gang leader,” fired the sister. She completed the warning with a fire metaphor, saying: “Be careful with the bonfire you light because sometimes you won’t be able to handle the fire, if it turns into a wildfire then people get burned!”. After the confrontation, Pedro apologized to Ana Paula, claiming he did not intend to create intrigue, and justified to Samira that he made the comment out of “concern”.
Novelties of the 2026 Edition
In addition to the traditional Popcorn (anonymous) and Camarote (famous) groups, BBB 26 introduced a new category: the Veterans, formed by former participants from previous editions. The selection process for the Popcorn group also had changes, with the public choosing the members through five Glass Houses, each with four candidates. In the end, a vote defined one man and one woman from each house, totaling ten brothers and sisters in the group.
For fans who want to follow every detail, the 2026 edition brings significant technological innovations. Globoplay subscribers will have access to 12 cameras with simultaneous transmission, while the BBB Mosaic gains a new function that allows selecting the specific audio from each camera. The biggest novelty, however, are the three Big Phones scattered around the house, as the public will be able to choose which one will ring and hear the message that the selected participant will receive, increasing interactivity and the power to interfere in the game’s dynamics.
