With a forecast of one new title per year, the strategy aims to capitalize on the recent success of the Silent Hill 2 remake and the new Silent Hill f. This decision marks a new chapter for the series, which after a considerable hiatus, resumes full production in 2026, promising scares and disturbing atmospheres regularly for Brazilian fans.
The engine behind this acceleration is the excellent commercial performance of the most recent games. Silent Hill f, released in September of last year for PS5, Xbox Series, and PC, surpassed the mark of 1 million units shipped worldwide in just one day. This result, combined with the positive reception of the Silent Hill 2 remake (released in October 2024), convinced Konami that there is a strong public appetite for more content from the series. Thus, the company no longer intends to wait years between releases, aiming for an annual calendar that includes both already announced projects and surprises still kept under wraps.

The revival of the franchise would not be possible without the partnership with the talented Bloober Team, the Polish studio responsible for the acclaimed remake. Satisfied with the results, Konami already confirmed in February 2025 that it continues to collaborate with the developer on a new mysterious project.
