The anime ‘Tune In to the Midnight Heart’, based on Masakuni Igarashi’s manga, announced on Tuesday (6th) the addition of two actresses to its main cast. Taking on the roles are Yūki Wakai, portraying the childhood friend and former bandmate Aiko, and Nao Tōyama, playing Ao Hyakusai, the star of the VTuber group Blue-Box. Scheduled to premiere this January 2026, the production arrives to shake up the musical and virtual entertainment anime scene, promising a narrative full of emotion for the Brazilian audience.
The direction is handled by Masayuki Takahashi, known for ‘Butareba’, while production is carried out by Studio Gekkō.
