Trigun Stampede Marathon Heats Up Stargaze Premiere on Crunchyroll

Trigun Stampede gets a special marathon on Crunchyroll Brazil’s YouTube this Tuesday, January 6th, to serve as an official warm-up for the premiere of Trigun Stargaze. The new series, arriving in the catalog on Saturday, January 10th, 2026, promises to be the definitive final point for the universe created by Yasuhiro Nightow. Therefore, the broadcaster organized this review of the 12 episodes produced by Studio Orange, a strategic move to reconnect fans with the plot and prepare the ground for the epic conclusion.
The broadcast will be available until January 13th and serves both those who followed the series in 2023 and new viewers. Thanks to this initiative, it’s possible to revisit the consequences of the Lost JuLai tragedy and understand the clues that Trigun Stampede left for the future of the story. In this way, the marathon becomes more than a nostalgic event, functioning as an essential guide to embark on Vash the Stampede’s new journey.
From Stampede to Stargaze: A Planned Transition
In addition to the episode screenings, the warm-up experience includes an exclusive interview with creator Yasuhiro Nightow on The Anime Effect podcast. In this content, Nightow comments on Trigun’s legacy and explains how Trigun Stargaze dialogues with the original manga and previous adaptations. For long-time fans, hearing the author talk about this planned ending adds extra weight to the expectations surrounding the new production.
The new series, directed by Masako Sato (Haikyu!!), takes place two and a half years after the events of Stampede. The plot follows Meryl and Milly in their search for Vash, who lives hidden under a new identity. Meanwhile, Wolfwood reappears along the way, in a narrative that promises to be darker and more intense. With a premiere scheduled for this Saturday, Crunchyroll hopes the marathon will generate collective hype, uniting the Brazilian fan community around one of anime’s most cult universes.
