Anime Arne no Jikenbo Gets New Video and Visual; See Details

Arne no Jikenbo, the mystery anime based on the game of the same name, has just received its second promotional video and a new visual. With its official premiere in Japan on January 6, 2026, the series is already available to the Brazilian audience through the streaming platform Crunchyroll. The story follows the unlikely duo formed by the vampire detective Arne Neuntöte and the young noble Lynn Reinweiss, who join forces to solve murder cases with a supernatural twist. This adaptation is relevant as it brings a successful Japanese gaming franchise to Western audiences, promising equal doses of mystery and fantasy.
The anime production is handled by studio SILVER LINK, directed by Keisuke Inoue, known for works such as My Next Life as a Villainess. Thus, fans can expect consistent visual quality. Additionally, the soundtrack is composed by Yoshiaki Fujisawa, while character design is handled by Akiko Satō. To complete the experience, the opening theme Q.E.D. is sung by Sou, and the ending theme Ningyō no Machi is performed by Watashi Kobayashi, with arrangements by the original game composer.
From the Game Screen to Episodes
The The Case Book of Arne franchise began as a digital game released in November 2017 by the Harumurasaki team. Due to its success, it received a manga adaptation that had four volumes published by Kadokawa. Now, in 2026, the anime version emerges as the newest expansion front for the story. Parallel to the series premiere, a new manga adaptation of the anime episodes, titled The Case Book of Arne: Memory of Blood, was released on the Comic Growl website. Therefore, fans will have multiple ways to follow the duo’s investigations.
The narrative promises to blend classic police investigation elements with the vampire universe, creating a curious subgenre for mystery and anime lovers. With episodes already airing, expectations are that the series will gain a solid fanbase outside Japan as well, especially here in Brazil, where Crunchyroll’s catalog is widely consumed. Thus, 2026 begins with another intriguing option for the season’s anime list.
