BBB 26: Aline Campos confronts Ana Paula over offensive comment

Big Brother Brasil 26 already records its first major personal conflict, involving two female participants in the house. Dancer Aline Campos, 38, had a frank conversation with journalist Ana Paula Renault, 44, on Tuesday night (13th), inside the TV Globo reality show. The reason was a comment made by Ana Paula, before the confinement, about Aline’s appearance at an event. The situation, which happened on national television, gained significant traction on social media and illustrates the clashes that promise to mark this 2026 edition, which premiered on Monday (12th) with a new format that includes the Veterans group.
During the conversation, Aline Campos recalled the moment she felt offended. “It was something like: ‘She dresses like a high-end escort’. To me, that offended me a lot,” the dancer said to Ana Paula. The journalist, in turn, acknowledged the mistake and classified her own statement as “absurd and sexist.” She argued that while criticisms of personal taste are valid, labeling someone is unacceptable. “One thing is for me to talk about your look, because your taste has nothing to do with mine. What I really cannot do is label you. You are right,” replied Ana Paula, attempting to settle the score.
The outcome of the chat, however, maintained the tension characteristic of the game. Aline revealed that she gave Ana Paula a “Cobra” (Snake) in the Queridômetro, an internal negative vote. The journalist coldly retorted: “That’s fine, there are many people for me to vote for before you.” This direct clash, right in the first few days, shows how relationships inside the BBB 26 house can be volatile and strategic, especially with the introduction of participants who already know the reality show’s dynamics.
New Features of the 2026 Edition
Besides the conflicts among the brothers and sisters, this year’s BBB brings significant technical changes for viewers. Globoplay subscribers, for example, will have access to 12 simultaneous live streams, offering unprecedented control over what to watch. The BBB Mosaic also gains a new function, allowing the audience to select not only the camera but also the specific audio they want to follow in each room of the house.
Another novelty awaited by fans involves the iconic Big Phones. In 2026, the production installed three devices in different areas of the confinement. This way, the audience can choose which one will ring and will have access to the message that the selected participant will hear, increasing interactivity and suspense. These innovations seek to renew the viewer’s experience in a year where the reality show maintains its status as a cultural phenomenon in Brazil.
The house lineup also followed a different process. The Pipoca (Popcorn) group, formed by anonymous people, was defined by popular vote from five Glass Houses. Each of them had four participants, and the public elected one man and one woman from each, totaling ten brothers and sisters. They join the famous Camarote (VIP Box) participants and, for the first time, the Veterans, who have participated in previous editions, promising an even more unpredictable and strategic game dynamic.
