The former housemate Anamara Barreira, 41 years old, revealed this Sunday (11th) that the network approached her for a return to the reality show, with a premiere scheduled for this Monday (12th). However, due to her performance in the “Sincerão” segment during the last edition, the production decided to cancel the invitation. The biomedical professional, known for her strong temper in her 2010 and 2013 participations, explained on social media that her more reserved posture in the special dynamic was the main reason for Globo’s withdrawal.
The revelation came in response to a fan on platform X, formerly Twitter, last Friday (9th). “It happened [the invitation] but they said they didn’t see the same Anamara in the Sincerão,” wrote the influencer. During BBB 25, she was part of the “Pipocômetro” alongside other former participants, such as Sarah Andrade and MC Bin, with the mission of evaluating the players. Her performance, however, was the target of criticism from internet users, who found her commitment below expectations. As a result, the Rio-based network chose not to have her back in the confinement this year of 2026.
Reaction of the Former Housemate and Criticism on Social Media
In her defense, Anamara argued that her participation in the Sincerão was merely special and, therefore, she saw no reason to get deeply involved in the conflicts. “I said I wasn’t there to compete for the prize,” she continued on the social network. “The ones who couldn’t ‘sabotage’ were the ones there in the game, why would I stick my nose in? Getting hate for nothing?”. In this way, the former participant justified the posture that, in the end, pushed the production away. The controversy gained traction on social media, where fans of the reality show debate the expected level of involvement from special guests in the program’s dynamics.
