Creators of ‘As the Gods Will’ Launch Dark Manga ‘Minna 〇njae’

Arata Miyatsuki and Akeji Fujimura, renowned names in the manga world, have just launched a new dark work titled Minna 〇njae. Scheduled to begin in December 2025, the manga is already available digitally on Shueisha’s Tonari no Young Jump website. The story, reaching the Brazilian audience in early 2026, promises to explore heavy themes like bullying and abuse through a supernatural revenge premise, which is expected to generate significant discussion among fans of the genre.
The plot follows Masaru, a fifth-grade student who suffers at the hands of schoolmates, online haters, and even his own mother. The twist occurs when a mysterious and cute creature named Kyu-chan appears. Thus, responding to the boy’s anger, the being takes violent action against his oppressors. The first chapter, divided into three parts, is already accessible to readers, offering a impactful start to this narrative.
The Weight of the Names Behind the Work
The project’s relevance goes far beyond the premise, thanks to the duo’s impressive resume. Akeji Fujimura, for example, is widely known in Brazil as the artist of As the Gods Will (Kami-sama no Iu Toori), a success that even received a live-action adaptation directed by Takashi Miike. Meanwhile, Arata Miyatsuki has a solid track record with works like Funōhan and Bokura no Natsu ga Saketeiku, the latter concluded only in September 2025.
Moreover, the partnership between writer and artist is not new, but this new venture stands out for its distinct tone. The manga emerges at a time when stories with social criticism and psychological horror elements find great reception. Therefore, Minna 〇njae arrives not just as another title, but as a work that carries the expectations generated by its creators’ background.
Prospects for the work are optimistic, considering the adaptation history of the duo’s previous creations. Thus, fans can already keep an eye on the developments of this release, which promises to be one of the most talked-about in the mature manga niche in the first half of 2026.
