Riot Games announced this Friday (January 23) the new cosmetic items for the Lunar Festival 2026 in Teamfight Tactics. The event, which celebrates the Year of the Horse, arrives in the auto-battler with an exclusive battle pass, themed arenas, and new legendary skins for champions like Irelia and Riven. Scheduled to start with update 16.3, which should arrive soon, the festival promises to bring unprecedented visual content for Brazilian players looking to customize their matches in the Convergence.
The main content will be distributed through the Lunar Festival Pass, which will cost 575 RP (Riot Points). This pass, however, will have a shorter duration compared to regular passes, as it will be active only during the limited event period. As a result, players will need to complete specific missions and accumulate EXP independently to unlock all rewards, which range from emblems to the exclusive mount Radiant Equinox Corceluz.
The main attraction of this edition is the Irelia Mythmaker Liberated skin, which comes with a themed portal and the Vanguard Blade boom. Meanwhile, Riven fans can acquire the prestige chibi variant Riven Valiant Sword Prestige Chibi, which also comes with a special boom. Additionally, update 16.4 will bring the Lee Sin Divine Fists Liberated skin and the Celestial Lantern Pinnacle arena, closing the celebrations with even more visual options for players.
Update and Bundle Details
Riot Games split the content release between two major updates. Update 16.3, which marks the official start of the Lunar Festival, will release the pass, the Mythic Irelia, and the Prestige Chibi Riven. Update 16.4, scheduled for a few weeks later, will bring the Lee Sin Divine Fists and its corresponding themed arena. To facilitate acquisition, the developer also prepared three different item bundles in the shop, with varying prices and combinations to cater to different player profiles.
The festival represents one of the most anticipated traditions by the TFT community in Brazil, always bringing an aesthetic inspired by Lunar New Year celebrations. With this, Riot Games reinforces its commitment to offering culturally diverse and visually impactful content, keeping players engaged with regular updates. Thus, fans of the game will have until the end of the event to secure all exclusive items that will not return to the rotating shop later.
