Xbox Game Pass Confirms 8 New Games for July; Check Out the List

Xbox Game Pass has announced the eight new games arriving on the subscription service in July 2026. The lineup includes two Day One releases — Ascend to Zero and FogPiercer — alongside highly anticipated titles such as Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2 and The Planet Crafter. These additions cater to subscribers across all tiers, from Game Pass Ultimate to PC Game Pass.

This week, the catalog already welcomed Winds of Arcana: Ruination. Gears of War: Reloaded arrives on July 9th for Ultimate and PC Game Pass (already available on Premium). Quarantine: The Last Check also premieres on Premium and will be released for other plans on July 15th. The 1.0 version of Palworld launches on July 10th, bringing new areas to explore.

First Wave: Tamashika, Ascend to Zero, and PBA Pro Bowling 2026

On July 9th, subscribers can dive into Tamashika, a hand-drawn arcade shooter. The game features a semi-automatic pistol and a tanto blade, along with a procedurally generated level that changes with each playthrough. The experience lasts about 10 minutes, with no checkpoints or cutscenes.

Also launching early in the month, the Day One title Ascend to Zero (July 13th) is an action-roguelike that allows players to freeze time during combat. The progression system enhances the arsenal and special moves. Meanwhile, PBA Pro Bowling 2026 (July 14th) boasts realistic bowling physics, licensed players, and a deep career mode.

Mid-July: Mavrix, FixForce, and FogPiercer

On July 16th, Mavrix by Matt Jones joins Game Pass. This open-world mountain biking game allows players to compete online, climb global leaderboards, and secure sponsorships. Reviews since its previous launch have been overwhelmingly positive.

Two games debut on July 17th. FixForce is a cooperative extraction platformer for up to six players. Set in a post-apocalyptic world, the objective is to find spare parts and repair broken machinery, rescuing friends along the way. The second is the Day One release FogPiercer, a deck-building roguelike developed by Mad Cookie Studios. Players command a train through a deadly fog, engaging in turn-based tactical battles to save humanity.

End of the Month: The Planet Crafter and Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2

On July 21st, two standout titles enter the catalog. The Planet Crafter is an open-world crafting and exploration game. On a planet where the ecosystem has failed, up to 10 players must gather resources, build bases, and generate oxygen, heat, and pressure to make it habitable. The game has received excellent reviews.

Also on July 21st, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2 arrives on Cloud, Console, and PC. This remastered collection brings together the first two games in the franchise with updated graphics, new skaters, park creation tools, and multiplayer modes with global leaderboards.

Subscribers to Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass, and Game Pass Standard can now plan their gaming sessions to try out all these new releases. Microsoft continues its strategy of offering fresh content throughout the month, featuring both Day One premieres and remastered classics.
