Xbox Game Pass Adds Nintendo Classics

Xbox Game Pass has just bolstered its catalog with two titles that left their mark on the Nintendo DS and Wii. In a February 2026 with few major new releases, Microsoft is banking on nostalgia by bringing MySims and MySims Kingdom to PC and Ultimate subscribers.

These games originally launched as Nintendo exclusives between 2007 and 2008, focusing on a different experience from EA's main franchise. While traditional The Sims revolves around family management, the MySims line has players rebuilding entire cities with a cartoonish, charming look. Thanks to the partnership with EA Play, the titles are now permanently available on the service.

DS and Wii Nostalgia on Your PC

Although the first game sold over four million copies back in the day, the versions arriving on Game Pass aren't remasters—they're direct ports of the recently released collection. These games have started appearing on modern platforms, and since late last year they've been on Xbox Series X. However, subscription access is currently limited to PC.

Due to EA's distribution model, Ultimate subscribers also get an exclusive 20% discount if they decide to buy the bundle outright. Additionally, Microsoft hasn't confirmed whether the titles will come to the Standard tier on console anytime soon, so PC players have the immediate edge in this update.
