Dr. Stone: The End is Near! Final Part of the Anime Premieres in April 2026

The wait for the grand conclusion of Senku Ishigami’s scientific saga now has an end date. During Jump Festa ’26, it was officially confirmed that the third and final part (cour) of Dr. Stone: Science Future premieres in April 2026.
If you were anxious, take a deep breath. This final batch of episodes promises to adapt the climax of the manga, concluding the fourth season that began airing in early 2025.
The Moon Project and a New Ally
The teaser revealed at the event didn’t just bring the date. We got the first glimpse of Sai, a new character crucial to the plans of the Kingdom of Science.
For those who haven’t read the manga, no heavy spoilers: the story now focuses on the unlikely alliance between Senku and Dr. Xeno. The goal? An ambitious lunar landing project. Ryusui, our favorite navigator, identifies that a key piece is missing for the success of the spacecraft, and that’s where Sai comes into play.
A Split Season
The release strategy for this final season tested the patience of fans. Science Future was split into three parts:
-
The first two parts aired throughout 2025.
-
The third part arrives in the spring season (April) of 2026 to close it out.
Now it’s a countdown. The final mission to save (again) all of humanity and unravel the mystery of petrification is about to begin. Prepare your beakers.
