Everything leaked? Fortnite Chapter 7 release date and brand-new mode revealed

While players are still exploring the newly arrived mechanics, the Battle Royale community has already turned its attention to the future with the first hot rumors about Fortnite Chapter 7. Information from dataminers and the analysis of Epic Games’ new development cycle indicate not just a specific launch window, but also the arrival of a long-awaited feature that promises to transform the gaming experience.
Fortnite Chapter 7 release date: What to expect?
Historically, Fortnite chapters lasted about two years, but Epic Games has drastically changed this strategy starting from Chapter 3. With annual releases becoming the new standard (seen in the rapid transition between Chapters 4 and 5), it all indicates that the current Chapter 6 will follow the same line.
Based on the current schedule and the end of the Battle Pass predicted, the most likely debut date for Fortnite Chapter 7 is the end of 2025, specifically between November and December. Experts point out that Epic should maintain the “live event” format at the beginning of December to mark the transition, following the tradition of major end-of-year updates to keep engagement during the holidays.
First-Person Mode and gameplay changes
Beyond the date, the biggest leak refers to the gameplay mechanics. Internal files suggest that Epic Games is polishing the anticipated first-person mode to be the major differential of Chapter 7. Although a first-person camera already exists in some creative modes and in the aim of specific weapons, the complete implementation in Battle Royale would turn the title into a direct competitor of shooters like Call of Duty and Apex Legends.
The expectation is that, along with the new perspective, a completely original map and a pool of futuristic weapons will be introduced to justify the “reboot” of the island.
