Manga UP! Global expands catalog with 4 new English series in 2026

Manga UP! Global has just reinforced its catalog with four new additions in the English language at the beginning of 2026, offering more options for Brazilian fans of Japanese comics. The series have arrived on the digital platform over the past few weeks and include titles such as Supervillain Boy, Code of Misconduct, and more. With plans to provide updated content, the expansion aims to meet the growing demand from the audience that consumes manga in English in Brazil and worldwide.
This move by Square Enix, the company behind the service, comes at a time of growth in the global digital manga market. Thus, the platform seeks to establish itself as a robust option, competing with other major players in the sector. The new works arrive with different volumes already published in Japan, meaning readers will have a considerable amount of chapters to follow right away—a major attraction for those who dislike waiting for weekly updates.
Get to know the new titles in detail
Supervillain Boy, for example, is one of the most recent premieres. Created by Fujichika, the same author of The Girl I Like Forgot Her Glasses, the manga was originally launched on the Manga UP! service in December 2024 and already has its third physical volume available. Meanwhile, Code of Misconduct, by Hitsujibako, began its journey on the Japanese platform in 2021 and had its second volume compiled in August of last year, with Yen Press already publishing the English version since 2023.
Additionally, fans of completed stories are also catered to. The work by atro, which concluded in 2024, arrives in the global catalog with its two volumes already available, making it a great option for a reading marathon. On the other hand, the series by Ponkotsu-Works, which started in October 2021, is about to be completed. Its sixth physical volume was released in February 2025, and the seventh and final volume is scheduled to arrive this January 2026, concluding the saga for its followers.
This constant movement of additions is essential to keep the platform relevant and engaging. Therefore, Manga UP! Global’s strategy seems clear: to offer a mix of new, ongoing, and already completed series. In this way, the platform attracts both readers seeking hot new releases from Japan and those who prefer stories with a defined beginning, middle, and end, consolidating its space in the competitive manga streaming market.
