Restaurant Tycoon 3: How to Unlock and Use the New Sushi Stand

Restaurant Tycoon 3 has received a thematic update that has excited Brazilian players in early 2026. The novelty, called the “Sushi Update,” introduced the Sushi Stand, a new preparation counter that allows creating Japanese dishes within the popular Roblox management game. This addition, which arrived in the game in January, is important because it adds a new layer of complexity and a revenue source for virtual restaurants, requiring players to master the frying skill to access it.
To start serving sushi and attracting customers, you first need to reach Frying Level 5. As a result of this requirement, it’s necessary to focus on dishes that use the frying pan, like Tempura and Spring Rolls. This way, after much training and dedication, the Sushi Stand is unlocked in Build Mode for an initial investment of 175 Cash (in-game currency), an amount that can be recovered by selling the dishes.
How the preparation works and which ingredients to use
Once built, the process for making sushi is quite straightforward. The counter, similar to the already familiar Burger Stand, offers three free slots for recipes, with the possibility of buying more using Diamonds. With it, you can combine ingredients like Nori, Rice, Tuna, Salmon, Cucumber, and Avocado to create different varieties. Furthermore, the value of each finished dish varies between $10 and $15 in the game, depending on the toppings used.
To expand your menu, however, you need to unlock more toppings in the in-game stores. For example, to get Tempura Shrimp, you need to buy five fish at the Fish Market. Thanks to this progression system, players are encouraged to explore all the purchasing and preparation mechanics. Therefore, a valuable tip is to cook the items personally, since dishes made by NPC chefs do not count points towards the frying experience.
Strategy to maximize your profits
Expected to keep players engaged throughout the year, the sushi update adds a concrete and profitable objective. You can strategically manage the Sushi menu in the “Specials” section, removing cheap dishes to encourage more expensive orders and, consequently, increase your balance. In other words, mastering this new station isn’t just about variety, but also about smart financial management within your virtual culinary empire. Thus, in 2026, Restaurant Tycoon 3 proves it still has plenty of fresh content to offer its community in Brazil.
