Tougen Anki Confirms 2nd Season with Nikko Kegon Falls Arc

The Tougen Anki anime franchise has just received great news for its fans. The distribution company REMOW officially confirmed, still in December 2025, a sequel to the series. Titled Tougen Anki: Nikko Kegon Falls Arc, this new season will explore an original arc of the work. The news came right after the end of the first season, which concluded its broadcast with 24 episodes, and already has a subtitled trailer released for the international audience.
The importance of the announcement lies in the success of the adaptation, which achieved wide global distribution. Therefore, the new journey of Hayate Todoroki can be followed by Brazilians on the main streaming platforms. The series is available on Crunchyroll, Netflix, and Prime Video, with the latter offering the content almost worldwide, except in Japan and mainland China. Additionally, Crunchyroll also produces an English dub for those who prefer to watch dubbed.
Production Details and Soundtrack
Behind the scenes, the sequel maintains the heavyweight team from Studio Hibari. The main direction continues with Ato Nonaka, while Yukie Sugawara is responsible for the scripts. The art direction and character design, signed by Hiroyuki Becchaku and Ryoko Amisaki respectively, promise to maintain the series’ unique visual identity. The music, one of the highlights, also remains in the hands of composer Kohta Yamamoto, promising epic tracks to accompany the new battles.
Furthermore, the series has an extra attraction for the most dedicated fans. Meanwhile, the companion mini-anime Onimomomomo continued to be released weekly alongside the main episodes. The soundtrack, in turn, remains a high point, with renowned bands like THE ORAL CIGARETTES and BAND-MAID contributing with memorable openings and endings.
The manga by Yura Urushibara, which started it all, remains strong in the Weekly Shōnen Champion magazine since 2020. With volume 27 released at the beginning of December and an English publication already underway by Yen Press, the foundation of the story is more solid than ever. Thus, fans can expect a faithful adaptation full of action for this new phase that approaches.
