Trigun Stargaze: All About the Epic Conclusion of Vash’s Story

The acclaimed Studio Orange has officially confirmed the production of Trigun Stargaze, the new phase that will serve as the long-awaited conclusion to the reboot anime Trigun Stampede. The recent announcement took fans by surprise and guarantees the return of Vash the Stampede to finalize his tragic journey on the planet No Man’s Land.
What is Trigun Stargaze?
Trigun Stargaze is not a completely new series, but rather the “Final Phase” of the CGI reboot project Trigun Stampede, which premiered in 2023. While the first season reintroduced Vash and his initial conflict with his brother, Millions Knives, Stargaze has the mission of adapting the darker and more complex arcs from Yasuhiro Nightow’s original manga.
The first season of Stampede was praised for its fluid animation from Studio Orange (known for Beastars), but divided opinions by drastically restructuring the narrative. Stargaze promises to focus on the definitive confrontation between the brothers and further explore the tragic past involving Vash, Knives, and the character Rem.
What to Expect from the Final Phase
Although an official release date has not yet been revealed, the announcement guarantees that the production will be released in January 2026 with the return of the main production team. The expectation is that the new phase will maintain the high level of visual quality and delve into the events that define Vash’s destiny. The released promotional art suggests an even more serious tone for the conclusion.
Where to Watch
Just like Trigun Stampede, the broadcast of Trigun Stargaze in the West is expected to be exclusive to the streaming platform Crunchyroll. The platform was responsible for the simultaneous broadcast (simulcast) of the first part, making the anime available with subtitles and Portuguese dubbing.
