Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, the latest entry in Activision’s famous shooter franchise, has received a significant price cut on the physical PlayStation 5 version. The game, which was not met with the usual warmth by fans and critics at launch, is now selling for the equivalent of less than R$200 in a flash sale. This offer, available through the British retailer The Game Collection, gives players who have not yet picked up the title a reason to reconsider their purchase despite the early criticism. The promotion, running in January 2026, aims to reignite interest in the game, offering strong value for anyone looking for extensive campaign, multiplayer, and Zombies content.
The discount is substantial, bringing the price down to around £29.95, which, after conversion and factoring in import costs to Brazil, can land in an affordable range compared to the standard launch price of an AAA title. Due to the popularity of the deal, physical stock has fluctuated, selling out and being restocked at regular intervals. Interested buyers should therefore stay alert and try to check out at different times. Despite its lukewarm reception, the game offers a futuristic campaign with cooperative elements, plus all the traditional multiplayer modes and the expansion of the beloved Zombies mode, billed as the biggest map in franchise history.
What does the game offer despite the criticism?
Although it did not win over fans the way its predecessors did, Black Ops 7 carries the content depth the series is known for. The main campaign, set in the near future, lets players explore the vast city of Avalon, including in co-op. In addition, the multiplayer package comes loaded with classic modes and a generous number of maps, which have been receiving free post-launch additions. For casual players or those who prioritize group gameplay, the deal therefore becomes far more tempting.
The standout, however, remains Treyarch’s Zombies mode. In this entry, the round-based experience takes place in an ever-changing “Inferno” inside the Dark Aether, described as the biggest map in the history of the mode in the Black Ops universe. For fans of that specific mode, the reduced price may be the final push toward a purchase. The promotion works as a strategic move by Activision to keep the player base active and attract new users who were on the fence, showing that, in the gaming world, a good deal can completely change the perceived value of a title.
