Organizations are the heart of strategy in Terra Invicta, the complex global strategy game released by Hooded Horse. Regardless of the human faction you’ve chosen to kick off your campaign in early 2026, you’ll gradually gain access to a variety of groups that can turn the tide in your favor. These organizations, or 'Sorgs', range from governments and agencies to criminal syndicates, and each offers critical bonuses to your councilors and your faction’s overall objectives in the alien invasion scenario.
As your game progresses, you’ll find and be able to acquire these orgs through the Council Management tab, using resources like money, influence, or operation points. However, it’s crucial to plan your choices, as not all organizations are available to every faction due to conflicting values and ideologies. Selecting the right orgs for your councilors, considering their professions and missions, can mean the difference between victory and defeat for humanity’s fate.
Strategic Management and In-Game Evolution
With the org market updating on the 15th of each in-game month, new purchasing opportunities arise, demanding constant cost-benefit evaluation. You can store up to ten unused organizations, which is useful for long-term planning, and also sell off those that no longer align with your strategy. It’s important to remember that organizations are removed from any councilor who is detained or taken out of combat, requiring careful reconfiguration for the next mission phase.
The evolution of your orgs should mirror the campaign phases. In the early game, the focus should be on administrative organizations that help establish a presence on Earth and secure initial resources, such as money and Boost to reach space. In the mid-game, with large-scale projects underway, orgs that accelerate research and contribute to faction-specific objectives become vital. By the endgame, as the alien threat looms large, it’s time to optimize to the fullest, shedding early-game orgs to prioritize those offering the most valuable resources for your ultimate victory.
