LCK 2026 finals leave Korea for the first time; see prices and dates

The prestigious LCK Cup breaks tradition in early 2026 by taking its finals outside South Korea for the first time, choosing Hong Kong as the tournament’s historic host. Kai Tak Sports Park Arena will host the decisive matches from February 28 to March 1, with tickets starting at 488 HKD (approximately R$ 310 at direct conversion), already available for purchase on the HK Ticketing portal.

Organized jointly by the Korean league and Cyber Games Arena (CGA), the championship brings together Korea’s ten best teams, but only the Top 3 in the standings punch their ticket to the final stage on Chinese soil. Right now, GEN, T1 and DK top the standings, fueling huge anticipation around Faker’s presence at the event. Veteran Bang, former SKT star, said he is eager to watch the matchups and enjoy the local cuisine while following the team closely.

Finals schedule

The finals schedule is set for the last weekend of February, promising to energize the global League of Legends community:

  • February 28 (Saturday): Lower Bracket Final (Loser"s Finals)
  • March 1 (Sunday): Grand Final

Both matches start at 4 p.m. (local time) and follow the MD5 (best-of-five) format. Beyond the title, both finalists earn a direct slot to represent the LCK at the First Stand Tournament, Riot Games’ new global tournament. As a result, the showdown in Hong Kong will carry enormous strategic weight for the rest of the 2026 season.

Festival Zone and fan experience

For those in town, the organizers have prepared a free Festival Zone open to the public in nearby malls and at the arena itself, featuring the following attractions:

  • Team booths
  • Official and limited-edition merchandise
  • Photo zones and fan cheer walls
  • Cosplay interactions
  • Brand activation zones

Match tickets range from 488 HKD to 1,688 HKD (about R$ 1,070 at the current rate). With demand expected to be massive given the event’s historic first and the chance to see T1 up close, the advice for Brazilians planning the trip or local fans is to secure tickets as soon as possible so as not to miss this milestone for the competitive scene.
