Quality cinema fans have a great reason to celebrate in this early part of 2026. HBO Max has just renewed its multi-million dollar, long-term deal with the prestigious studio A24. This means that, in the United States, the platform will continue to be the **exclusive home** for the studio’s films after their theatrical run. Thanks to this successful partnership, subscribers will have access to dozens of new titles as well as A24’s rich catalog.
The deal was renewed for several years, shortly after an initial partnership considered very successful. As a result of this strong performance, half of A24’s recent releases reached the **top 10** most-watched on HBO Max in the two weeks after their debut. Furthermore, almost 70% of viewers who watched one of the studio’s films returned to watch more, consuming an average of four titles. Therefore, the strategy is clearly captivating the audience.
And what amazing films are coming? The list is full of stars. Subscribers will be able to watch **Marty Supreme**, starring Timothée Chalamet, and **The Drama**, with Zendaya and Robert Pattinson. There is also **Enemies**, featuring Jeremy Allen White and Austin Butler. Additionally, other releases promise to shake up streaming, such as **The Moment** with Charli XCX, **Pillion** with Alexander Skarsgård and Harry Melling, and **The Death of Robin Hood**, starring Hugh Jackman and Jodie Comer.
This strategic renewal happens shortly before a major event: the premiere of the third season of the acclaimed series **Euphoria**, produced in partnership with A24, scheduled for April 12. Royce Battleman, Executive Vice President of Global Content Acquisitions, highlighted that A24 has been an incredible partner, bringing bold narratives and an engaged audience to the platform. In this way, the studio’s content perfectly complements HBO Max’s distinctive programming.
Want to know more about how major platforms are competing for the best content? This multi-million dollar renewal is a major asset for HBO Max, as the entertainment industry continues to rapidly transform.
