Teamfight Tactics unveils Lunar Festival 2026 cosmetics with Irelia and Riven

Riot Games announced this Friday (the 23rd) the new Lunar Festival 2026 cosmetics for Teamfight Tactics. The event, which celebrates the Year of the Horse, comes to the auto battler with an exclusive battle pass, themed arenas, and new legendary skins for champions such as Irelia and Riven. Slated to begin with patch 16.3, arriving soon, the festival promises brand-new visual content for Brazilian players looking to customize their matches in the Convergence.

The main content will be distributed through the Lunar Festival Pass, which will cost 575 RP (Riot Points). This pass, however, will run for a shorter time than regular passes, as it will only be active during the event’s limited run. Players will therefore need to complete specific missions and earn EXP separately to unlock every reward, ranging from emblems to the exclusive Radiant Equinox Steed mount.

The star attraction of this edition is the Freed Mythic Creator Irelia skin, arriving alongside a themed portal and the Vanguard Blade boom". Meanwhile, Riven fans will be able to pick up the prestige chibi variant Prestige Valiant Sword Riven Chibi, which also comes with a special boom. In addition, patch 16.4 will bring the Freed Divine Fists Lee Sin skin and the Celestial Lantern Pinnacle arena, rounding out the celebrations with even more visual options for players.

Update and Bundle Details

Riot Games has split the content rollout across two major patches. Version 16.3, which marks the official start of the Lunar Festival, will unlock the pass, the mythic Irelia, and the prestige Riven chibi. Patch 16.4, scheduled a few weeks later, will bring Divine Fists Lee Sin and its matching themed arena. To make purchases easier, the developer has also prepared three different item bundles in the store, with varied prices and combinations to suit different player profiles.

The festival is one of the most anticipated traditions for the TFT community in Brazil, always bringing an aesthetic inspired by Lunar New Year celebrations.
