Xbox Game Pass adds classics that were Nintendo exclusives

The Xbox Game Pass has just bolstered its catalog with two titles that made their mark on the Nintendo DS and Wii. In a February 2026 with few major brand-new releases, Microsoft is betting on nostalgia by bringing MySims and MySims Kingdom to PC and Ultimate subscribers.

These games originally launched as Nintendo exclusives between 2007 and 2008, offering a different experience from EA’s main franchise. While the traditional The Sims focuses on managing families, the MySims line has players rebuilding entire towns with a charming cartoonish look. Thanks to the partnership with EA Play, the titles are now permanently available on the service.

DS and Wii nostalgia on your PC

Although the first game sold over four million copies at the time, the versions coming to Game Pass are not remasters, but direct ports of the recently released collection. These games recently started appearing on modern platforms and, since late last year, were already available on Xbox Series X. However, subscription access is restricted to PC for now.

Due to EA’s distribution model, Ultimate subscribers also get an exclusive 20% discount if they decide to buy the bundle outright. In addition, Microsoft has not yet confirmed whether the titles will reach the Standard console tier soon, so PC players hold the immediate advantage in this update.
