Xbox Game Pass Confirms 8 New Games in July; See the List

Xbox Game Pass has announced the eight new games coming to the subscription service in July 2026. The list includes two Day One releases — Ascend to Zero and FogPiercer — plus anticipated titles such as Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2 and The Planet Crafter. The additions cover subscribers on every tier, from Game Pass Ultimate to PC Game Pass.

This week, the catalog already welcomed Winds of Arcana: Ruination. Gears of War: Reloaded arrives on July 9 for Ultimate and PC Game Pass (already available on Premium). Quarantine: The Last Check also debuts on Premium and opens to the other plans on July 15. Version 1.0 of Palworld launches on July 10, bringing new areas to explore.

First wave: Tamashika, Ascend to Zero, and PBA Pro Bowling 2026

On July 9, subscribers can play Tamashika, an arcade-style shooter with hand-drawn animation. The game offers a semi-automatic pistol and a tantō blade, plus a procedurally generated level that changes every run. The experience lasts about 10 minutes, with no checkpoints or cutscenes.

Also early in the month, the Day One title Ascend to Zero (July 13) is an action roguelike that lets you freeze time during combat. Its progression system upgrades the arsenal and special moves. PBA Pro Bowling 2026 (July 14), meanwhile, brings realistic bowling physics, licensed players, and a deep career mode.

Mid-July: Mavrix, FixForce, and FogPiercer

On July 16, Mavrix by Matt Jones joins Game Pass. The open-world game focused on mountain biking lets players compete online, climb the global leaderboard, and sign sponsorships. Reviews since its earlier release have been very positive.

Two games launch on July 17. FixForce is a cooperative extraction platformer for up to six players. In a post-apocalyptic world, the goal is to find spare parts and repair broken machines, rescuing friends along the way. The second is the Day One title FogPiercer, a deck-building roguelike developed by Mad Cookie Studios. Players command a train through a deadly fog, fighting turn-based tactical battles to save humanity.

End of the month: The Planet Crafter and Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2

On July 21, two standout titles join the catalog. The Planet Crafter is an open-world crafting and exploration game. On a planet whose ecosystem has failed, up to 10 players must gather resources, build bases, and generate oxygen, heat, and pressure to make it habitable. The game earned excellent reviews.

Also on July 21, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2 comes to Cloud, Console, and PC. The remastered collection brings together the franchise’s first two games with revamped graphics, new skaters, park creation, and multiplayer modes with worldwide leaderboards.

Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass, and Game Pass Standard subscribers can already start planning to try every release. Microsoft continues its strategy of delivering new titles throughout the month, with both Day One debuts and remastered classics.
