All James Bond movies arrive on Netflix, but not in Brazil

All 25 James Bond films have arrived on Netflix, but Brazil is excluded from the deal. Find out where to watch and what to expect from the future of Agent 007.

**James Bond** is back on screens, but not for all fans. Starting in January 2026, Netflix added all 25 films from the iconic spy franchise to its catalog. However, this big news comes with an important caveat: it is not available for Brazilian subscribers. The arrival of the 007 agent’s films is the result of a limited agreement between Amazon MGM Studios and Netflix, with the clear goal of reigniting global interest in the saga before the next feature film. Thus, while countries like the United States can marathon from “Dr. No” to “No Time to Die,” the Brazilian audience needs to look to other platforms for their doses of action and shaken martinis.

The deal, closed at the end of last year, lasts only three months and also includes other MGM franchises, such as “Rocky” and “Legally Blonde.” Chris Ottinger, head of worldwide distribution at Amazon MGM Studios, explained that the strategy of licensing the catalog to other streamers remains active even after the acquisition. Therefore, this partnership with Netflix, a direct competitor, serves as a marketing move to expand the fan base. Despite this, Brazilians who were hoping to revisit the adventures of Sean Connery, Roger Moore, or Daniel Craig on the country’s most popular platform will have to wait for future licensing negotiations.

## Where to Watch James Bond in Brazil in 2026

With its absence on Netflix, Brazilian fans need to turn to other services. Historically, the films of cinema’s most famous spy circulate between platforms like Globoplay, Telecine, Prime Video, and MGM+. Currently, it is common to find classic titles or the most recent ones on one of these subscriptions. The tip, therefore, is to keep an eye on the rotating catalogs, as streaming rights change frequently. Meanwhile, the news reignites the discussion about content fragmentation in the streaming market, where even established franchises can become temporarily inaccessible in certain regions.

## The Future of Agent 007

All this movement is happening at a crucial moment for the future of the franchise. Following Amazon’s acquisition of MGM, work on the next James Bond film has gained new momentum. The production already has a confirmed director: Denis Villeneuve, acclaimed for “Dune.” The screenplay, in turn, will be handled by Steven Knight, creator of “Peaky Blinders.” The big question that still lingers among fans is: who will be the new actor to don the tuxedo and carry the license to kill? Names like Callum Turner are circulating strongly in rumors, but reports also suggest that a less-known actor could be the surprise choice. Filming is only set to begin in 2027, which leaves plenty of time for speculation and, of course, for rewatching the entire journey of the world’s most famous secret agent – provided you live in the right country or have the right subscription.
