Fire Force Isn’t Over: Episode 24 Fools Fans as Real End Date Emerges

The anime Fire Force played a trick on fans who expected the end of the third season last March 28. Although many believed episode 24, titled Respuesta, would close the production, the studio confirmed Shinra Kusakabe’s journey still has fuel for one more unaired chapter. With this, the adaptation of Atsushi Ohkubo’s manga prepares for an epic farewell that should decide humanity’s fate in Adolla still in the first half of 2026.

During the recent events, viewers followed the emotional reunion between Shinra, Sho and their mother, Mari Kusakabe, who is revealed to be the Evangelist’s Doppelganger. This connection allowed Shinra to awaken the power of Soul Resonance, transforming into Shinrabanshoman, an entity embodying absolute hope against despair. Besides raising the stakes of the battle, this technique officially confirmed the work functions as a prequel to Soul Eater, definitively uniting the two universes created by the author.

Final Episode Date

Despite all the power shown by the protagonist, villain Haumea keeps resisting and maintains the belief that total annihilation is the only way out of human suffering. For this reason, the third season will have episode 25 as its true finale, officially scheduled to air next Friday, April 3, 2026. As a result of this unexpected extension, fans gain one more week to process the explosive revelations and prepare for the farewell of one of the best current shonen anime.
