The first episode of Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 is airing for free on Twitch, in three showings on the official CD Projekt Red channel — the first at 3:01 PM PT this Monday (19). Viewers who tune in unlock exclusive chat badges for the season, and invited streamers will co-stream the episode on their own channels. The full premiere on Netflix, with all ten episodes, is set for Tuesday (20). The details were announced on the anime's official X account and picked up by outlets such as GamesRadar+ and Inven Global.

The official announcement lists three viewing windows, all anchored to October 20 in Central European Summer Time (CEST). In practice, the first showing lands on Monday night across the Americas. The official post also listed times for American Pacific audiences, Japan (JST) and eastern Australia (AEDT): 9:01 AM, 9 PM and 6 AM the following day, respectively, for viewers in Sydney — a menu designed for audiences on both sides of the Pacific at once.

The perimeter is drawn with precision: only episode 1 runs on Twitch, in the three sessions. Episodes 2 through 10 require a subscription — Netflix premieres the full season on October 20, according to GamesRadar+, and the platform itself teased on the 19th that the premiere would come "tomorrow". CD Projekt Red has not yet confirmed whether the episode will remain available on Twitch after the three showings.

The original Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, also ten episodes long, became a phenomenon in 2022 inside the Cyberpunk 2077 universe: the award-winning series reignited interest in the game — which, in the same wave, received patch 1.6, nicknamed the Edgerunners Update, packed with items and easter eggs from the anime.
